Chey That Woon, the Chief Executive Officer graduated with honors in Agricultural Science from University Malaya back in 1974. His first job was in a company dealing with crop protection chemicals where he gained invaluable experiences enabling him to excel in what he is doing now. He started out as a sales executive and steadily climbed up the corporate ladder to become the General Manager. In 2002, Chey decided to join Farmcochem with the intent on of developing it into one of the major players in Malaysia’s agrochemical industry in Malaysia.
With his stewardship Farmcochem is today a leading brand for agrochemicals in the local and regional market.

The Malaysian CropLife & Public Health Association (MCPA) represents the plant science and public health industries in Malaysia. Since its inception in 1971, the MCPA has been responsible for improving the quality of agriculture and promoting the public health sector in order to create a harmonious balance between the chemicals industry and the betterment of the general public. MCPA is also an affiliated member of CropLife Asia, the umbrella organization for the industry in Asia.

The Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers (FMM) is Malaysia’s premier economic organisation. Since its establishment in 1968, the FMM has consistently led Malaysian manufacturers in spearheading the nation’s growth and modernisation. Today, as the largest private sector economic organisation in Malaysia representing over 2,500 manufacturing and industrial service companies of varying sizes, the FMM is the officially recognised and acknowledged voice of the industry.
